These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the professional relationship between Satvat Studio and our valued clients. By commissioning our services or engaging with our studio, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Services Provided
Satvat Studio provides high-end 3D character creation, environment design, hard-surface modeling, and CGI cinematics based on client-supplied specifications.
- Project Initiation: Work commences upon receiving full design inputs (concept art, style guides, technical constraints) along with written quotation approval or initial deposit.
- Deliverable Specifications: Final 3D assets are delivered in agreed-upon formats (e.g., .FBX, .OBJ, Unreal Engine/Unity project files). High-resolution rendered textures are typically delivered in 2K/4K resolution unless explicitly contracted otherwise.
2. Revisions & Approvals
Our structured workflow ensures transparent progress and predictable project completion:
- Stage 1 (Blockout / Geometry): Verification of structural shapes and proportions. 2 rounds of structural adjustments are included.
- Stage 2 (High-Poly / Sculpting): Application of intricate details. 2 rounds of detail adjustments are included.
- Stage 3 (Texturing / LookDev): Application of materials, colors, and final polish. 2 rounds of material/color adjustments are included.
- Out-of-Scope Revisions: Structural modifications or major design changes requested after Stage 1 approval will incur additional hourly or per-revision fees billed at standard studio rates.
3. Turnaround Time
Estimated completion schedules are outlined in your individual project proposal:
- Standard Turnaround: Typically 2–4 weeks for a standard hero character or complex asset, depending on current studio pipeline capacity.
- Expedited Rush Delivery: Available upon request subject to resource availability and standard rush surcharges (25%–50%).
- Delays caused by late feedback or pending design clarifications from the client will extend the overall delivery schedule accordingly.
4. Payment Terms
Our standard payment protocols ensure mutual commitment and smooth project execution:
- Advance Deposit: A standard 40% upfront advance is required prior to commencing 3D modeling or rendering work on new commissions.
- Remaining Balance & Final Deliverables: Draft previews during Stage 1 and Stage 2 are delivered for your review. Final source files and assets are released upon receipt of the remaining 60% balance after final approval.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Bank Wire Transfer, PayPal, Payoneer, and other major secure payment applications.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full settlement of invoices, the client is granted comprehensive rights:
- Work-for-Hire: Full exclusive commercial rights, copyrights, and ownership of the final 3D models and assets created specifically for the client are fully transferred.
- Studio Portfolio Rights: Unless governed by an active Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or explicit confidentiality request, Satvat Studio reserves the right to display completed assets in our studio portfolio, ArtStation, and promotional reels once the game or project is publicly announced.
6. Limitation of Liability
Satvat Studio produces 3D assets based on technical specifications provided by the client:
- Technical Integration: While we strive for engine-ready perfection, the client is responsible for final in-engine implementation and testing. We provide support for asset handoff, but are not liable for engine-specific bugs outside the scope of the delivered asset.
- Liability Limitation: In no event shall Satvat Studio be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from project delays, third-party software changes, or integration discrepancies.
